Harrison Hike

June 22, 2015 By John Collett

Harrison HikeCowboy John Tours operates a shuttle service for the Ruby Crest Trail, in the northeastern Nevada’s Ruby Mountains. June 11 I drove a gentleman from Indiana, and his two sons, to Harrison for the hike. That was a Thursday, and Saturday Blake called (some how got cell service on top!) asking me to pick them up back at Harrison Pass, the drop-off point earlier, Sunday morning. They’d run into snow drifts at Overland Lake and decided to turn back.

They loved the mountains and the experience. The snow was too much, especially for the dog, so they turned back. No regrets, a great experience, Ruby Mountains, spectacular!
